Pickup Site, Time & Order Procedures

 

1.     Orders are due one week before the order is placed.  Ordering & Pick-up Schedule

2.     Place your order using the Excel form. attached in your monthly newsletter. You should be able to fill it in and send it back to me.  That way I will be able to make adjustments on my end if need be of order changes.  (Like from the "Share List").If you do not have Excel on your computer PLEASE go to the library to fill out your order as orders will not be accepted that are not on this form!! Another option is to down load "OPEN OFFICE" from the internet and save the excel file to a compatible form.

 

3.     Please bring you payment at the time of pick-up either with the correct cash or check made out to Iowa Lakes Organic Market (ILOM)

4.     Location will be at the Fostoria City Hall or in the summer months at the City Park just across from the Fostoria City Hall.  It is very easy to find.  5 miles south of Milford or 5 miles North of Spencer on Highway 71,then west into town.  Look for a blue steal building with the US flag out front and the words Fostoria Fire Department.  It is just about all the way though town, on your left hand side.

5.    Time of pick –up will be around 2pm on Thursday afternoon.  This has been changing a lot lately so always refer to the current "Share List" for details.  Ordering & Pick-up Schedule If you cannot pick up your own food up PLEASE make arrangement for someone else to do it for you.

6. Ordering from local vender will be directly to them with delivery & payment at regular pickup.

 

Please Note: Since we do not have room in our freezer or cooler it will be necessary for you to make arrangements to have your order picked up at the designated time.   Food left there will be sent back with the truck and a 15% restocking fee charged to you. 

Watch your email as delivery time can change with very short notice.

Remember to put you Name and Phone Number on all orders for convience to truck delivery changes.

Navigating the website

2- The log in is on the far left.

3-Type in the User Name (Iowa) Password (BuyingClub12) --Enter Please be sure to use capital B&C, also no spaces.

4- Far left is Buying Club Catalog
5- Choose the monthly catalog you want and wait for it to down load. OR 
6- Select from View by Brand or View by Category, these do not give you a price but will help you to find what you may be looking for.  Then you can view the catalog for the price.
 
Procedure for ordering from the “Items to Share List”  
Need to add an item to your order after you have already sent it to me? Just add it to you order and sent me the corrected form by the due date.
1.  If there are things you are interested in sharing with others let me know the Sunday before the notice for “order deadline” goes out, usually the week before orders are due, so I can include it in the e-mail. Please give me plenty of time to add it to the list.  I hate last minute emails or calls, don't you. Send me the product number, price, total pounds or units & if it is on sale.  This is a great time to try things we have never tried before.
2.  If you want something from the “share list” email me what you want and the amount you are willing to take. 
Example:  Apples, no less than 10 & no more than 25. 
Example:  WW OG Flour, no less than 10# & no more than 25#
Example: Canned foods, no less than 6 cans & no more than 24 cans.  

Ordering from Albert’s Organics                                              

This is a separate order that we place. We do not always order the same fruits.  I send out a list of fruit available along with the “share list”.  The fruit offered is based on price, quality & locally grown if possible.    We must meet the minimum order & dollar amount to receive fruit & a specialty cheese we all seem to love. (want a sample? Request it on your order form)   I f you have fruit that you are interested in you can always request that I look into it for the order.

Please see their information in the attachments and get you order in by the deadline. I will get the items ordered and they will be here on delivery day.
